Recently, the sudden rise in the number of fraudulent calls and messages has caused havoc among the consumers. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI) has been diligently working towards framing guidelines in respect of regulating Unsolicited Commercial Communications (UCC) or SPAM messages. Last month, the authority released directions regarding implementation of Digital Consent Acquisition (DCA) under Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations 2018, TCCCPR 2018.
